Okay so technically this is my first official post about what's gonna be going on next year. I've just found out that I got into the residence I want - Lupton Flats! So I'm pretty happy about that right now, which is what made me decide to post, even though I'm not in England yet.

Here's some info on Lupton Flats...there's also an image gallery if you want to see more pictures. The one below is probably what my room will sort of look like if not exactly.

Lupton's a "self-catered" rez, which means it's what we would call the apartment-style in Canada. It's right in the student village of Headingley, so everything I need is really close!

On a less happy note, the second set of bombs have gone off in London today. And, the people who set off the first set were apparently from Leeds....hey...Leeds...that city sounds familiar...oh YEAH! THAT'S WHERE I'M GOING!....
But I figure Leeds is the safest place I can be cuz who bombs their hometown? Honestly? So I'm guessing we'll be bomb-free at least. *crosses fingers* It sucks that this happened at all, but it just really sucks that it happened now that I'm going over there...cuz security is probably gonna be super tight, like what the States is now...and I mean, it's all for the best, but I'm sure it's going to be a lot of hassle for us exchange students.

Okay so I think this thing is just about ready to go....finally!!! Yay!
